This review was undertaken by the Ministry of Tourism in 2002, to gain consistency between datasets allowing easier analysis of information.
The report contains the results of the Review of Core Tourism Statistics and is divided into four sections:
- Review Process: how the review was conducted
- The Tourism Information Set: the long-term vision for tourism statistics
- Evaluation and Recommendations: suggested amendments and enhancements
- Implementation Programme: implementation of recommendations.
