Waters of National Importance for Tourism
This report was conducted by the Ministry of Tourism in 2004 to contribute to the development of a framework for water bodies by identifying water bodies of importance to tourism.
The project was one part of furthering the Government's goal under the Sustainable Development Programme of Action where the desired outcome is that water bodies with nationally significant natural, social or cultural heritage values are protected.
