Tourism Research Scholarships

Applications for the 2010 Ministry of Tourism Research Scholarships  closed on Friday 20 November 2009.

The Ministry of Tourism is offering five $15,000 scholarships to Masters students doing a research-based Thesis on an area of current importance to the tourism industry. 

 

The Ministry welcomes students studying for a Masters qualification in any subject (not just tourism-related), who are doing research that is applicable to the tourism industry.

The Scholarships are designed to build research capacity in tourism, encourage research applicable to the industry, increase the profile of tourism research, and create stronger links between researchers, industry and the public sector.

 

For more information on the Scholarships, download the Regulations and Guidelines information sheet.  Applicants need to complete an Application Form and have two referees complete a Referees Report.

 

Applications closed at 5pm, Friday 20 November 2009.
