These reports provide an overview of the accommodation sector, including supply, demand and visitor characteristics. Individual reports are produced for hotels, motels, backpackers and holiday parks, as well as the combined total.

In 2009, the accommodation sector comprised over 3,300 businesses which together hosted 32 million guest nights and employed 28,000 people.
