This report provides an overview of domestic travel by New Zealand residents, including trends and characteristics for the period 2004-2008.
Domestic travel refers to New Zealand residents who travel within New Zealand for less than one year. This includes day and overnight trips for holiday, business, visiting friends and relatives (VFR) and other reasons.
