This section provides information derived from the Ministry’s forecasting programme. Forecasts for seven years ahead are released each year.
These forecasts establish expectations of international and domestic tourism demand at the national level. This is a rich body of information for tourism and related sectors, to be used in planning and decision making.
Each year the Ministry, with wide industry input, revises the forecasts for a seven-year projection period. The current forecasts cover the period to 2015.
